- Heavy Duty 6 Bar Friction Hinges made from Austenitic SS304 Steel.
- SS304 (EN 1.4301) is composed of 17.5-20% Chromium, 8-11% Nickel, < 0.08% Carbon, 2% Manganese, 1% Silicon, 0.045% Phosphorous and 0.03% Sulphur and has Hardness of up to 360 BHN, high Fatigue Strength of up to 440 MPa, Young’s Modulus of 200 GPa, Ultimate Tensile Strength up to 1180 MPa, Shear Strength up to 690 Mpa.
- With a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN) of 20, and good resistance to Inter-Granular Corrosion, SS 304 is well serviceable in corrosive environments.
- Stack Height of 16.5 mm. suitable for Aluminium as well as PVC-U applications.
- Base Channel Width of 22.5 mm.
- Specially designed for Large and Heavy Top Hung Vents.
- Self Balancing with excellent weather sealing capabilities.
- Pressure adjustment screw for catering to different sash weights.
